The Statement on Auditing Standards (SAS) 70 Type II audit, developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), is an internationally recognized in-depth auditing standard that reviews control objectives and control activities for service providers including business practices, communication, internal procedures, and security.

Grant Thornton, a third-party independent auditing firm, performed the SAS 70 Type II audit for Castle Access both on- and off-site during a six-month period and closely scrutinized the service organization's control objectives, activities, and operations assuring compliance in the areas of security, change, incident, and facility management in the data center environment.
