The film goes on sale across platforms December 2, with premiere events just announced on Maui and Oahu.

Directed by Rob Bruce and produced in association with Freeride Entertainment, Distance Between Dreams captures brothers Ian, Shaun, D.K., and Luke Walsh, alongside surfers John John Florence, Greg Long, Shane Dorian, and more as they ride massive El Niño powered swells.

Distance Between Dreams captures the energy of big wave surfing and delivers it to viewers through vivid cinematography, and an immersive custom score by Tom Holkenborg, aka Junkie XL. The Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum producer, musician, and composer mixed modern aesthetic and analog synthesizers to capture the essence of riding big waves with elegance and drama.
