RealNetworks(R), Inc. (Nasdaq: RNWK), the global leader in Internet media
delivery, today announced that they have joined forces to provide exclusive,
24/7 live video streaming from the "Big Brother 2" house for the second U.S.
season of the show. The webcast, which premieres tonight, will be accessible
through the official Big Brother 2 website at www.CBS.com and through
RealNetworks' RealPlayer(R) GoldPass(TM) subscription service.
The live webcast, featuring four live camera feeds, will be available only
as a subscription service-marking what is believed to be the first streaming
entertainment content subscription package offered by a U.S. network.
CBS and RealNetworks will offer a free trial subscription immediately
following Big Brother 2's broadcast tonight that will be available through
Sunday night (July 8). Effective July 9, fans may view the entire three-month
broadcast run of Big Brother 2 on the official CBS Big Brother site for a
one-time fee of $19.95, or they may choose to subscribe to RealNetworks'
GoldPass for $9.95 per month which will feature the Big Brother 2 season, as
well as exclusive RealNetworks' programming, content, games and software
downloads. To view the webcasts, consumers will need RealPlayer, available
for download at www.real.com.
To preserve the drama for Big Brother 2 television viewers, CBS will not
webcast a limited number of real-time events that transpire in the house,
including three weekly challenges and the eviction nomination process.
However, those events will be made available to subscribers via on-demand
clips on the website following the live broadcast.

Other components of the official Big Brother 2 website will include
detailed summaries of all the events that happened during each broadcast, a
live 24/7 chat room, popularity polls, opinion polls, a three dimensional tour
of the Big Brother 2 house, descriptions of the week's challenges, voting
history pages, exclusive video clips, photo galleries and a houseguest section
with complete profiles.
CBS.com has produced notable official websites for "Survivor," "Late Show
with David Letterman" and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation."
The second U.S. edition of the one-hour reality series Big Brother
premieres Thursday, July 5 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET/PT) and will continue in that
time period three nights a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday) throughout the
