WASHINGTON, April 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Gary Gensler, chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and former Undersecretary of the Treasury, will speak May 18 on OTC Derivatives -- Transparency and Trading. The audience will include treasurers and CFOs of the largest U.S. companies.

Mr. Gensler will discuss the need to bring transparency to both regulators and the public because one of the lessons from the 2008 financial crisis was that transparency is critical to lowering risk in the marketplace.
