CG&S Design Build Featured In 2012 Tour Of Remodeled Homes

AUSTIN, Texas, Oct. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Two homes remodeled by CG&S Design Build will be featured in the 10th Annual Tour of Remodeled Homes. The self-guided tour of 11 Austin, Texas homes will be held on Saturday, Oct 27 and Sunday, Oct 28, 2012, from 12 noon to 6 p.m.

The event is sponsored by the Austin Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI). Homes remodeled by CG&S are located on Post Oak Street and Doone Valley Court. They offer the latest in Austin design build remodeling trends.

"This is a wonderful opportunity for people who know that they are ready to make a change through home additions or remodeling projects, but they're not sure exactly what they want," said Aida Pollard, business and marketing manager of CG&S Design Build. "Seeing the different features provides a visual concept of what their homes could look like with some minor or major modifications."

The Post Oak Street whole-home remodel features front porch and patio additions, an expanded kitchen, complete bathroom remodel and upgrades to the family room. CG&S added a new master bedroom and replaced the roof, installing foam insulation in the attic and wall spaces.

Renovations by CG&S on the Doone Valley Court home provide more kitchen space, contemporary wall materials, an upstairs bathroom remodel and a new home office. A new patio door offers a scenic view of the backyard, including a renovated deck and new trellis.
