Champion Energy Services Wins Consilient Restaurants Contract
Creative cost-saving solution incorporates renewable energy component
HOUSTON, Oct. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Champion Energy Services LLC (www.championenergyservices.com) today announced that it has secured a contract to provide electric energy for Dallas-based Consilient Restaurants (www.consilientrestaurants.com).The announcement was made by Scott L. Fordham, president and chief executive officer.
Champion will supply electric energy to Consilient for 30 months beginning in November 2009.
"Our contract with Champion will reduce the company's annual energy expenditures by approximately 15 to 18 percent while also supporting internal green initiatives," said Tristan Simon, president and CEO of Consilient, which includes Cuba Libre Cafe, Fireside Pies, Hibiscus, The Porch and Victor Tango's among its Dallas/Ft. Worth-area restaurant and entertainment concepts, as well as Westside Tavern In Los Angeles.
"Champion worked with Consilient to customize a creative energy solution, including a 10 percent renewable energy component, that addressed unique business issues," added David Visneau, Champion's vice president - sales. "Throughout 2009, we have seen a steady increase in the addition of green energy options for commercial and industrial customers, and Champion is highly supportive of efforts that protect the world's natural resources."
Champion also customized an affinity program for Consilient's Texas employees to significantly lower their residential energy service rates and provide a range of customer-focused service benefits.
