Chicago Biotech Network Celebrates First Birthday

    CHICAGO, Jan. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chicago Biotech Network(CBN) will
 host an informal reception to celebrate its first full year of operation.  The
 reception will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2000, from 5:00 P.M. to
 6:30 P.M. in the Main Lobby of the Molecular Biology Research Building at the
 University of Illinois at Chicago, 900 South Ashland Avenue, Chicago.  Free to
 CBN members; $10 for nonmembers.  Register in advance by e-mail,

     CBN is a not-for-profit trade organization dedicated to helping local
 biotech companies grow and to promoting the biotechnology industry in Chicago
 and the State of Illinois.  Members represent biotech related companies and
