CHICAGO, March 31, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- CHICAGO CHAMBER CHOIR SPRING CONCERTS
With The Pro Musica Youth Chorus
The Chicago Chamber Choir (www.ChicagoChamberChoir.org) begins its Spring concert series – "Where the Wild Songs Are ". This highly-skilled choral ensemble will be joined by the Pro Musica Youth Chorus as they present the joy of the wild in song. The arrangement is led by Artistic Director Timm Adams, who has led the organization since 2000. Carling FitzSimmons will lead the Pro Musica Youth Chorus.
Where the Wild Songs Are:
This spring, the Chicago Chamber Choir has put together a concert program that personifies the grandiosity and magic of the wild kingdom. Audience members will feel as if they are trekking through the rainforest as "Lost Animals" by Robert S. Cohen and "Jabberwockey" by Samuel Pottle are sung. The program is a light hearted homage to the whimsy of animals.
The choir is proud to be working with Carling FitzSimmons and the young singers of the Pro Musica Youth Chorus. The two choirs will showcase their many talents through arrangements such as "De Animals a-comin'" and "Prayer's from the Ark". The selections will leave patrons pondering the beauty and mystique of animals long after the last note. Come celebrate the amazing power of the animal kingdom with us.
