BRUNSWICK, Maine, July 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Allenbrook Inc., one of the top
three providers of policy processing software and consulting services for the
insurance industry, announced that Church Insurance Companies, a division of
Church Pension Group, has signed a licensing agreement for Phoenix(TM), adding
to a growing list of insurance companies using Allenbrook's products. The
speed-to-market Phoenix solution will provide Church Pension Group with an
integrated policy processing and administration system including rate/ quote
and issuance, claims, billing, document and workflow management for the Church
 Commercial Package Policy.
"Allenbrook is very pleased to be partnering with a carrier who has such a
deep history and unusual focus as Church Insurance Companies," said Chuck
Peck, President of Allenbrook. "Phoenix will make a great fit to drive their
business because of its ability to work with distinctive business requirements
and specialty products. The unmatched speed-to-market capability of the
Phoenix product will provide Church with a stable, reliable growth-oriented
system while dramatically reducing ongoing maintenance costs."
"Last year we completed a very disciplined effort here to locate an
operational software product and vendor that could meet the needs of our two
small insurance companies," said Rod Webster, Senior Vice President and
General Manager of Church Insurance Company. "Phoenix was selected due to its
flexibility and relative affordability after a careful examination of the
alternatives and discussion with several other specialty insurers that were
 already using the software.
The implementation of Phoenix, an Allenbrook product, began in March and
was successfully delivered in early October so that all of our package
renewals effective January 1, 2004 or after could be processed using the new
system. The promise of substantially improved workflow and efficiency has been
realized and the flexibility provided by the software now enables us to keep
fine-tuning our processes to better serve clients."
