amplifiers in 2008. These marine amplifiers feature similar sleek cosmetics
to that of their sister products for automobiles with even more durable
features such as non-corrosive aluminum housings to endure the harsh marine
environment.

Clarion is the benchmark for marine audio products. Clarion's marine
amplifiers have fresh new cosmetics and are designed specifically to
protect electronic components to endure the harsh saltwater environment.
Their rugged design includes special conformally-coated circuit boards to
resist mold, mildew, and moisture damage. Clarion marine amplifiers add
good looks and powerful, balanced sound to any boat or yacht making for a
smoother more enjoyable ride.
Clarion's APX290M has 320 watts of maximum power with 90 watts by 2
channels @ 4 ohms or 180 watts by 2 channels @ 2 ohms and hi-level speaker
inputs.
The APX490M marine amplifier offers 640 watts of power with 90 watts by
4 channels @ 4 ohms and 180 watts by 4 channels @ 2 ohms and hi-level
speaker inputs. Both amplifiers will be available in Spring 2008.
