Co-Founder of Shopping.com Joins WAFFiL
Technology Marketing Veteran Joins Team as Chief Operating Officer
SAN DIEGO, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- WAFFiL, an innovative marketing & technology solution that monetizes plasma and LCD televisions, announced today that Douglas Hay has joined its executive team as Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Hay will oversee all operational aspects of the company with a focus on the patent pending WAFFiL product line.

Douglas Hay has more than 30 years of leadership experience in building retail brands and guiding established and early-phase companies. During his career, Mr. Hay has served in a variety of executive positions. His career achievements include Co-Founder, Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of Shopping.com that sold to Compaq Computer Corporation in an all cash transaction of $280 million and Vice President-Marketing of Lucky Stores/Northern Automotive, a $900 million dollar retail corporation. Mr. Hay began his career in the advertising industry as a creative director/business manager involved as a day-to-day, active member of a retail consortium, and served as a principal in the acquisition, funding, startup design, and operation of fifteen privately and publicly traded retail companies in the United States and Canada.
