JACKSON, Mich., Oct. 2 /PRNewswire/ -- In recognition of Energy Awareness Month, Consumers Energy employees are visiting schools throughout Michigan, as well as conducting strategic recruiting at several state colleges and universities. "Energy Awareness Month provides an ideal time to alert young people to good career opportunities in the utility field, particularly in engineering, information technology, business, accounting and finance."
Consumers Energy is investing $6-billion plus in Michigan over the next five years to help strengthen the state's energy infrastructure, create jobs and protect the state's natural resources with energy efficiency and renewable energy.
