Offer provides frequent flyers with opportunity to earn OnePass Elite status twice as fast

HOUSTON, March 20 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL) today announced that customers can earn double Elite Qualifying Miles on flights operated by Continental Airlines, Continental Micronesia, Continental Connection or Continental Express beginning March 20, 2009 through June 15, 2009. With the offer, OnePass members can earn Elite status twice as fast.

To take advantage of the offer, OnePass members simply register for the promotion with the provided code at continental.com to earn double Elite Qualifying Miles for all applicable travel. This offer is valid for all OnePass members.

OnePass membership rewards customers with everything from seat upgrades to reward travel, mileage earning opportunities, travel bonuses and preferred customer benefits. To be eligible for the offer, registration is required and must be completed by June 15, 2009. Bonus Elite Qualifying Miles will be credited one week after the segment has posted to the account. The offer is valid for all paid, published fares and is not valid on government fares. Elite Qualifying Miles cannot be redeemed for award travel. Double Elite Qualifying Miles for this offer are two times the actual base flight miles posted to the customers account for qualifying flights taken during the promotional period. This offer does not apply to Elite Qualifying Points, class-of-service bonus miles, class-of-service Elite Qualifying Miles, Elite bonus miles, redeemable bonus miles or promotional Elite Qualifying Miles. OnePass number must be provided prior to flight departure for the trip to qualify.
