At 1 p.m., attendees can watch the City of San Luis Obispo's sponsored artist Man One paint his fiberglass cow LIVE for the crowd. Man One is a famed graffiti artist, known for his work with Nike, Oakley, Microsoft, Sharpie, and Pantone. He'll be joined by one of his biggest fans, local artist Dylan Ehmke, 11, who will be painting a smaller mini-moo live beside him.
The event is FREE to attend, and beer, wine, food and ice cream will be available for purchase.
After the public launch, the cows will be mooooooved to different parts of the county, where the "grazing" bovines will be on display for 7 months.
The cows will be auctioned off for local charities May 2017.
