Comprehensive, Native HP Integration Across Entire Product Suite Reinforces Commitment to Optimizing Web Services Lifecycle Delivery

LAS VEGAS, June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- HP Technology Forum & Expo 2009 (Booth # 729) -- Crosscheck Networks, Inc., a leader in Web services delivery lifecycle optimization, today announced that it has attained the industry's first HP Enterprise Management Alliance Program (EMAP) certification for Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) testing. Building on an existing partnership, Crosscheck Networks now boasts the most complete integration with HP across its entire enterprise-class product suite. The announcement was made in conjunction with the HP Technology Forum & Expo 2009, taking place at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas this week.

On the heels of its acquisition of Forum Systems, and augmenting an established relationship, Crosscheck Networks' SOAPSonar testing solution has achieved deep, native integration with HP Quality Center. Now a wholly owned subsidiary of Crosscheck Networks, Forum Systems had previously certified its Sentry XML Security Gateway with HP OpenView Enterprise for centralized SOA Monitoring, and with HP SOA Systinet for a more centralized UDDI and SOA Governance repository. Notably, based on Forum Systems' integration, HP honored the organization with the OpenView Enterprise Management Alliance Program Achiever Award.

"Enterprises need to ensure the quality of their Web service interactions in complex SOA- and SaaS-integration environments," said Dennis Callaghan, Enterprise Software Analyst at The 451 Group. "Crosscheck Networks' integration with HP Quality Center is validation that the company is providing the necessary resources that development teams require to achieve this critical task."

Underscoring Crosscheck Networks' commitment to streamlining the enterprise Web services lifecycle, the SOAPSonar-HP Quality Center integration enables rich collaboration of test resources and identified defects between large services teams - typically comprising five or more developers. Now IT professionals benefit from:

  • Consolidated visibility into service quality and potential business risk;
  • Centralized sharing, storage and management of defects, test rules and results, and configuration settings;
  • Real-time review and cross-service trend analysis.

HP Quality Center supports all essential aspects of test management throughout the application lifecycle. It provides a consistent, repeatable process for gathering requirements, planning and scheduling tests, analyzing results and managing defects and issues. HP Quality Center software enables organizations to digitize specific quality processes and procedures within the larger application lifecycle, and supports high levels of communication and collaboration among IT teams.

"The accelerated adoption and deployment of Web services has reached an inflection point, and large development and testing teams are demanding more efficient, centralized management," said Jason Macy, CTO and VP Engineering of Crosscheck Networks. "Addressing our enterprise customers' needs for tighter, native integration, this industry-first certification demonstrates our continued commitment to driving a best-practices approach to effectively building, testing, securing - and ultimately publishing - Web services."

Crosscheck Networks will be showcasing its HP-certified Web services life cycle optimization suite at the HP Technology Forum & Expo 2009 in Booth # 729.
