Customer and Dealer Feedback Play Key Role in Development of 2010 American Coach Luxury Motor Home Line

DECATUR, Ind., Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- American Coach, the luxury division of Fleetwood RV, Inc., a leading producer of Class A and Class C recreational vehicles, today announced the release of its 2010 American Allegiance, American Tradition, American Eagle and American Heritage. Many of the new features and benefits on the 2010 American Coach line of luxury motor homes are the direct result of customer and dealer feedback.

"American Coach has led the industry with its factory service support and customer satisfaction since its debut in 1991," said John Draheim, president and COO of Fleetwood RV, Inc. "The entire American Coach team is dedicated to product innovation and quality, as well as to building strong relationships with its dealers and customers. The 2010 American Coach products are a wonderful example of their ongoing efforts."

The 2010 American Heritage, the flagship of the American Coach line, features the industry's largest floor plan, a 45-foot full-wall-slide with 30-inch deep slide boxes. This spacious floor plan provides customers with over 450 square feet of living space. The 2010 Heritage continues to impress with its long list of features including redesigned ceiling plenums that reduce air conditioning noise; 46" front overhead Sony LCD TV and 40" Sony LCD TV in the bedroom; Geoquartz countertops throughout; hand crafted/ glazed cabinetry; and dual dash monitors.

The all-new 2010 American Eagle takes this historic brand to new heights. Featuring its first 45-foot full-wall-slide floor plan (45B) with available 650-horsepower ISX engine, American Eagle is more spacious and powerful than ever. American Eagle also has three other floor plans with engine choices ranging from 425-horsepower to 500-horsepower. The 2010 American Eagle is also debuting paint fades on all of its graphics, which create even greater curb appeal. Other product highlights include redesigned ceiling plenums that reduce air conditioning noise; 33-percent more bedroom storage; redesigned window valances; and dual dash monitors.

The 2010 American Tradition features a new 45-foot, quad-slide model (45Y) with residential "gourmet galley" which has abundant storage, optional residential refrigerator, spacious counter space and increased functionality. In addition, the 2010 American Tradition offers two 42-foot full-wall-slide floor plans. Product highlights include Villa® furniture throughout; redesigned ceiling plenums that reduce air conditioning noise; 33-percent more bedroom storage; optional power shades; redesigned window valances; and Dual Dash Monitors with AM/FM/CD, camera Monitor, GPS navigation, Pressure Pro tire monitoring system, iPod-compatibility and Bluetooth technology.

Many features were made standard on the 2010 American Allegiance, available in four models, including: Garmin ® GPS navigation system, central vacuum, tire pressure monitoring system, power luggage door unlock, in-motion satellite dish, side view cameras, auto generator start, Ultraleather(TM) sofa bed, bedroom ceiling fan and full tile flooring.

"We are excited about the 2010 American Coach line-up," said Chris Carter, product development manager for the American Coach and Revolution Class A diesel brands. "A lot of the new features came directly from the feedback sessions we hold during owner rallies and other events. These sessions, which are split into men's and women's groups, help us identify the areas we need to improve upon, as well as areas where we can capitalize on our strengths. We are excited to hear what our owners have to say about all of the new features in our 2010 American Coach products."

All American Coach products are built on Liberty Chassis(TM), which features independent front suspension and quality Spartan components, and creates one of the smoothest rides in the industry.
