Bromwell Ault was born in 1927 in Cincinnati and grew up in New York City during the Great Depression. He received his bachelor's degree at Yale University and began his career in earnest at an advertising agency in New York City. Ault has lived in Florida for the past 14 years and has three children from a previous marriage.
