Dade Medical College Executes Successful Annual Go Pink Campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month Multi-Level Campaign Benefits the Needy with Donations and Public Awareness Initiatives
MIAMI, Nov. 7, 2011 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- On Monday, October 31, Dade Medical College completed its second annual "Go Pink" campaign for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an effort to increase awareness and preventative care for the disease. The campaign raised more than $60,000 in donations for women in need and the American Cancer Society's "Making Strides Against Breast Cancer" campaign.
"We are extremely happy with the results of this year's campaign," states Dade Medical College President and CEO Ernesto Perez. "I am proud of the efforts our staff and students put forth and look forward to expanding the reach of our initiatives in 2012."
A well-attended, signature pink healthcare mixer event was held October 27 at the Yard House in Coral Gables, where Dade Medical College hosted many local hospital, clinic and healthcare officials and employees.
