LOS ANGELES, Aug. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Residents in Los Angeles and San Francisco will soon be able to order anything on-demand with a simple text or message on Facebook. By utilizing popular forms of communication, Dashio is available to anyone with an invite and a mobile device. In addition, Dashio is currently testing multiple standalone chat applications for orders.
"These cities are prime metropolitan areas where people are early-adopters of tech and embrace on-demand services," said Adam Oliver, CEO and Founder of Dashio, Inc. "Our orders are primarily for food but we're seeing a range of requests for merchandise, sporting events, concert tickets, and travel arrangements. We see Dashio as an all-encompassing on-demand service."
Customers can quickly order fresh food from nearby restaurants or everyday items from local retailers to be delivered to their door with a few messages. Dashio leverages services such as DoorDash and Caviar, as well as various ride-sharing platforms like Lyft for more specific requests.
"Accessibility and convenience are some of our key values at Dashio, so by adding a 'social layer' on top of all these different services and unifying them, we'll be offering consumers a faster, seamless experience," said Rikko Montanez, Dashio's Product Manager.
Dashio (http://godashio.com) aims to be nationwide within the next couple of months.
