The lot includes US issued patent 7,733,249 which describes methods for lossless compression and decompression of digital data.

The methods described by the patent improve the speed of data transmission between computers, devices, and any other networked component via the repetitive compression and decompression of a data file. Conventional compression techniques allow only one compression cycle per data file. The '249 patent allows for a repetitive compression process that greatly reduces the file size, thereby enhancing the storage capacity of data servers and significantly improving the speed of data transmission. In addition, because the patent enables significant flexibility as well as the opportunity for multiple levels of compression, the aforementioned compression technique can also serve as an encryption process.
