DataSource Wins U.S. Commerce Department Contract

    SILVER SPRING, Md., Aug. 29 /PRNewswire/ -- DataSource, Inc., a Silver
 Spring-based software development company, announces that it has won a 5-year
 contract to provide Information Technology services to the U.S. Department of
 Commerce and other government agencies.
     DataSource will offer its services as part of the COMMITS (Commerce
 Information Technology Solutions) program for small businesses, which
 anticipates IT expenditures of $1.5 billion over the next five years.
 DataSource will provide support in Information Systems Engineering, which will
 include e-Commerce, IT strategic planning and assessment, software
 engineering, and IT research and development.
     DataSource provides custom software development, systems integration and
 network services to commercial and government clients, and specializes in e-
 Commerce/e-Gov solutions and N-Tier technology.  As part of its strong
 corporate commitment to providing highest quality products and services,
 DataSource is independently certified at Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Level
 2, a measure of quality assurance for software providers, and expects Level 3
 later this year.
