LOS ANGELES, Dec. 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Legendary singer-songwriter David Crosby announces a warm-up show at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, CA—his hometown—on January 16, 2014. Advance Regular Tickets and VIP Packages—which include premium seat plus the live show recording—will be available for Pre-Sale on Wednesday, Dec. 18, at 1 PM Pacific Time through the Lobero Theatre website www.lobero.com; general tickets go on sale Saturday, Dec. 21 at 10 AM.   http://checkout.lobero.com/single/SelectSeating.aspx?p=3189&promo=croz

The show will feature repertoire spanning Crosby's entire career, including songs from his January 28th release, CROZ—his first solo album of studio material in 20 years, as well as selections from The Byrds, Crosby, Stills & Nash, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, and his partnership as a duo with Nash. Accompanying Crosby on the road are James Raymond (keyboards), Shane Fontayne (guitar), Kevin McCormick (bass), Steve DiStanislao (drums, percussion), and Marcus Eaton (guitar).

"I admit I have been lucky, but this tour is really a high point for me," says David Crosby. "I get to go out and play this record that we have made LIVE: The studio is good, but live is even better. I am going to have a blast, and I suspect anyone else who comes to see us will too."

Crosby starts his tour in late January with multiple nights at City Winery in New York City (1/28, 1/29, 1/31, 2/1), The Barns at Wolftrap in Vienna, VA (2/3, 2/4, 2/6), City Winery in Chicago (2/8-9), The Great American Music Hall in San Francisco (2/20-21), ending with several sold out nights at the Troubadour in Los Angeles (2/23, 2/24, 2/25, 2/27, 2/28).

Featuring 11 new original songs, CROZ, the new studio album from David Crosby, will be released on January 28, on CD, Vinyl and digitally on Blue Castle Records, the label Crosby co-founded with Graham Nash; distribution is through ADA. Crosby, James Raymond, and Daniel Garcia produced CROZ; and, Crosby and Raymond (David Crosby's son) co-wrote a number of the songs together. In addition to Crosby's band, the album features guest players including Wynton Marsalis ("Holding On To Nothing"), Mark Knopfler ("What's Broken"), Leland Sklar ("Find A Heart") and Steve Tavaglione ("Morning Falling," "Find A Heart").

Crosby is a two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer, inducted with The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash; he is also in the Songwriters Hall of Fame.  In addition to his solo work, Crosby still tours and records with CSN, CSNY, and as a duo with Nash.  He has written books— Stand and Be Counted: Making Music, Making History/The Dramatic Story of the Artists and Causes That Changed America, and the autobiographical volumes Long Time Gone and Since Then: How I Survived Everything And Lived To Tell About It.
