Schwarz Architects, Inc. (dmsas.com), a Washington, D.C.-based design firm established in 1976, and incorporated in 1978, has renewed its 10-year, 10,706 SF lease at 1707 L Street, NW, DC, a USGBC LEED EB-registered, newly-renovated building owned and managed by the family-owned real estate development company.

David M. Schwarz Architects has a nationally-based practice and has designed such projects as Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex, Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, and Yale University's Environmental Sciences Center. The firm began as a five-member architectural practice and currently employs an architectural and administrative staff of fifty. They have a second office in Fort Worth, Texas opened in 1985. Current projects include a hotel at 13th and U Streets NW, The Smith Center for the Performing Arts under construction in Las Vegas, and spring training facilities in Sarasota, Florida for the Baltimore Orioles.
