    NEW YORK, Sept. 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Debevoise & Plimpton LLP will mark
 its 75th anniversary on October 1, 2006. Founded by Eli Whitney Debevoise
 and William Stevenson in 1931, the firm now has more than 630 lawyers in
 eight cities throughout the world.

 "Picasso and American Art," which opens at the Whitney on September 28,
 2006. The landmark exhibition, more than ten years in the planning,
 celebrates the dramatic impact of Picasso on the course of 20th-century
 American art. It places Picasso masterworks alongside pieces by Max Weber,
 Willem de Kooning, Jackson Pollock, Roy Lichtenstein, Jasper Johns, and
