ORLANDO, Fla., June 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Delta Express, Delta's
low-fare carrier, and Cartoon Network today unveiled a redesigned Powerpuff
Girls aircraft for customers, movie fans and children from the Orange County
Parks & Recreation department's "Klub Kid" summer camp program. The Boeing
737-200 aircraft will be used to promote the July 3 release of the first
Powerpuff Girls feature length movie titled, "The Powerpuff Girls Movie."
As part of the celebration, the Powerpuff Girls will greet the "Klub Kid"
participants at Delta Express Gate 91 in Orlando International Airport. Delta
Express will fly the children on a brief tour of the Orlando area aboard "The
Powerpuff Girls Movie" aircraft. Special Powerpuff Girls-themed activities
and gifts will be provided during the flight.
"As Florida's airline, Delta Express is delighted to unveil this unique
aircraft to the Orlando community," said Maureen Brady, managing director --
Delta Express and Delta Shuttle. "This is the only way customers and cartoon
fans alike can actually fly with Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup."
Customers traveling on board Delta Express' "The Powerpuff Girls Movie"
aircraft now through July 1 will receive promotional giveaways from the
Cartoon Network, including a set of temporary tattoos and activity sheets.
Additionally, the Airport Network, featured throughout many Delta Express

"This fun summer promotion is a great way to let Delta Express passengers
share in the excitement around 'The Powerpuff Girls Movie'," said Dennis
Adamovich, vice president of Consumer Marketing for Cartoon Network. "We're
thrilled to continue our partnership with Delta Express."
"The Powerpuff Girls Movie" follows the adventures of three super-powered
sisters -- Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup -- who frequently ask to be excused
from school so they can save the world. Based on the popular Cartoon Network
series, "The Powerpuff Girls Movie" tells the story of how the sisters were
created by Professor Utonium who has to teach them the awesome responsibility
that goes along with having superpowers. Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup must
join forces to save their home of Townsville from falling into the clutches of
mutant monkey, Mojo Jojo.
The Delta Express Powerpuff Girls aircraft features a movie-themed design
on the interior and exterior of the plane. The B737-200 was originally
painted with the Powerpuff Girls livery in July 2000, and marked the first
time Delta Express featured another brand on its aircraft.
