Open to Architects, Pool Builders, Artists and Designers Internationally

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- GAVA: the Global AquaTekture Visionary Awards announces a call for entries for the 2010 competition at www.gavaawards.com. GAVA recognizes artisans globally whose visions and creativity exemplify the best in AquaTekture; the discipline of designing, engineering and erecting of water environments and ancillary components, in a harmonious nature with consideration to function, space and aesthetics.

GAVA is the only independent design awards competition open to all design disciplines including:  Architects, Contractors, Interior & Exterior Designers, Home Builders, Pool Builders, Developers, Landscape Architects, Artists, Landscape Designers, as well as manufacturers worldwide.

Hosted by Three V Enterprises, GAVA is sponsored by Structure Studios, Zodiac Pool Products, Brand, Ltd. and Paramount Pool and Spa Systems.  GAVA acknowledges the most groundbreaking concepts, designs, materials and applications of water-inspired environments from across the globe in commercial, mixed use, hospitality, public use, recreational and residential, in both interior and exterior applications.  

Categories include pools, spas, water features, waterfalls, reflection ponds, koi ponds, aquariums and water fountains, as well as special materials such as lighting, acrylic panels, tiles, natural materials, "green" AquaTekture and a signature award from Presenting Sponsor Structure Studios.  

Entries are judged on their aesthetic beauty as well as how each exemplifies the objectives of the projects; designs exhibiting original and diverse concepts that demonstrate respect for environmental, cultural, philosophical and/or historical components.

The ONLY design awards program to showcase winners in an international design book, GAVA is open to professionals from all associations, allowing them to compete in the global market.  Entries are accepted through April 15, 2010, through an easy on-line entry application, at www.gavaawards.com, entries received prior to February 15th receive a discount.

Three V Enterprises' philanthropic program waives the entry fee to the GAVA competition for 501 (c) 3 (or equivalent) non-profit organizations such as aquariums, zoos, hospitals, educational facilities and other institutions who meet the criteria.    

The award salutes the innovative spirit of artisans from every segment of the globe, celebrating diverse concepts from varying cultures, environments and philosophical aspects.
