Deutsche Telekom Increases European RCS Momentum with Third Jibe Service Launch

Telekom Albania delivers integrated SMS and RCS messaging to their subscribers

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Aug. 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Jibe Mobile (www.jibemobile.com), the Cloud Communications Company and leader in Rich Communications Services (RCS), today announced that Deutsche Telekom's regional operating company, Telekom Albania, launched its rich IP communications service powered by Jibe's IP Communications Cloud. The service, available first as a downloadable app, replaces the native SMS/MMS messaging app on Android with a single application that enables mobile subscribers to video chat, instant message, group message, share large photos and videos while still being able to SMS and MMS with users that do not have the service. On the iPhone, subscribers are able to download a compatible RCS application.
