Development Firm Continues Downtown Commitment; Two New Eateries Open in Detroit

    DETROIT, May 8 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sterling Group, the Detroit based
 development firm that recently successfully renovated several downtown
 properties including the landmark Guardian Building, continues its
 commitment to downtown revitalization with the opening of two new exciting
 eateries in two prominent downtown Detroit locations; Gateway Deli, a
 unique New York style eatery in the Fort Washington Plaza, and Stella
 International Cafe, located in the first floor lobby of the beautiful
 Guardian Building began welcoming customers this week.

 and investment in Detroit beyond a simple retail operation. Both Gateway
 Deli and Stella International Caf� offer us an opportunity to make sure we

     According to Samson, the Gateway Deli in the newly remodeled lobby of
 the Fort Washington Plaza is a family owned operation with three suburban
 locations and has the look, feel, and quality of a classic New York style
 deli. The restaurant boasts a diverse menu that offers tempting breakfasts,
 lunches, and dinners, including everything from mile high sandwiches to
 chicken marsala and mouthwatering pasta selections. The Gateway will also
 soon add an additional spark to downtown Detroit with caf� style outdoor
 eating this summer along with seasonal specialties.
     For those looking for to grab a gourmet item on the go Samson suggests
 a visit to the new Stella International Cafe located on the first floor of
 the Guardian Building where they will find authentic grilled panini on
 focaccia bread, fresh salads, and a variety of sandwiches with many of the
 menu items featuring baked good items from Detroit's best bakeries. And
 just in time for summer, another familiar and favorite taste of Detroit,
 Alinosi's homemade ice cream, will soon be available. Stella's is a fast
 paced cosmopolitan Toronto- esque type carryout that is sure to please the
 very busy but still discriminating diner.
