Disco releases new version of fastest ediscovery platform Visual overhaul, instances, tied multiscreen, advanced production options
HOUSTON, June 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- CS Disco Inc. today released a new version of Disco, the fastest ediscovery platform on the market.
A visual overhaul accompanies a 3x improvement in document-processing speed and new features like support for individual instances of deduplicated documents, tied-multiscreen view to support review on multiple monitors, and advanced production options like choice of sort order and deduplication level at time of production.
"Today's release marks a maturation of the Disco platform driven by our continued focus on market-leading performance on the largest ediscovery datasets," said chief technology officer Barry Hagan. Since launching in January 2013 and raising a Series A round of venture capital in December 2013, Disco has distinguished itself by focusing on speed and lawyer-focused design. Disco delivers 0.3 second search and 0.1 second document navigation, even on the largest multi-terabyte datasets.
"We are delighted to count more than 130 law firms and enterprises, including 10 of the AmLaw 50 and 30 of the AmLaw 200, the largest law firms in the United States by revenue, as Disco customers," said cofounder Kent Radford.
With its network of service-provider channel partners in all major U.S. markets and London, Disco can deliver an end-to-end ediscovery solution. Local, trusted service providers provide forensic collection, project management, managed review, and other services while Disco provides its technology running on managed infrastructure in data centers in Arizona, Virginia, and London.
"Disco's new UI is even more intuitive than before. This is a huge step forward in converting Los Angeles and the rest of the national market to Disco," said Sean Lavin, head of operations at Los Angeles-based Disco channel partner Discovery Document Technologies.
Disco gives end users a state-of-the-art ediscovery platform for their largest cases on a per-gigabyte or subscription basis with no up-front capital expenditure and a substantial reduction in the cost of litigation support. "Today's release is the first in an engineering push this year that will revolutionize the way lawyers find evidence. Just wait for what's next," said chief executive officer Kiwi Camara.
