DRS Technologies Awarded IDIQ Contract to Deliver Communications and Transmission Services to U.S. Army
ARLINGTON, Va., May 1, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- DRS Technologies, a Finmeccanica Company, announced that its Aviation, Communications and Homeland Security (ACHS) business group will be supporting U.S. Army battlefield operations around the world by providing satellite and terrestrial communications capabilities.
DRS has been awarded access to an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide communications and transmission systems as part of a five-year contract.
As one of the prime contractors awarded access to the Communications and Transmission Systems (CTS) IDIQ contract, DRS will compete for various task orders that are expected to range from systems engineering and integration to test and evaluation.
