ECHO Realty, LP Opens Washington, DC Office

PITTSBURGH, Oct. 10, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Pittsburgh, PA based ECHO Realty, LP opened a third office located in Washington DC on September 1, 2012.  ECHO's Washington, DC office will focus on continuing to expand ECHO's presence in the mid-Atlantic and southeastern regions of the U.S. through the acquisition and ground-up development of supermarket-anchored shopping centers and select market-dominant power centers.  The office is located at 2176 Wisconsin Ave, NW, Suite 200, Washington, DC 20006.

Howard Biel and Drew Gorman have become senior officers of ECHO and will manage the Washington, DC office.  Dr. Biel and Mr. Gorman were most recently employed by Faison & Associates and previously worked together at Federal Realty Investment Trust, and during those tenures collectively developed and re-developed  in excess of 9,000,000 square feet of retail space in centers such as Clemson Corner (Frederick, MD), Brandywine Crossing (Brandywine, MD), Waldorf Marketplace (Waldorf, MD), First Colony (Lexington Park, MD), Settlers Ridge (Pittsburgh, PA), and Bowie Gateway (Bowie, MD).
