(Nasdaq: SATS) today reported total revenue of $483 million for the quarter
ended June 30, 2008, a 46.2 percent increase compared with $331 million for
the corresponding period in 2007.
EchoStar reported net income of $48 million for the quarter ended June
30, 2008, compared with net losses of $15 million during the corresponding
period in 2007. Basic earnings per share were $0.53 for the quarter ended
June 30, 2008, compared with a basic loss per share of $0.16 during the
corresponding period in 2007.
