UNFI and ECRS partnered in the development of an EDI interface allowing mutual customers to automate ordering and receiving processes. This technology is hosted through the ECRS Supplier Gateway™ SaaS application. Recent modifications now facilitate the electronic transmittal of UNFI order invoices every 30 minutes as opposed to once daily. This provides retailers with updated receiving information prior to shipment arrival. UNFI invoices are electronically transmitted through the Supplier Gateway platform, sending updated shipment information directly to the store's ECRS point-of-sale system. This technology eliminates hours of labor-intensive inventory receiving processes.

Mutual customers, utilizing this cutting-edge technology, already enjoy features such as one-click ordering, purchase order auto-notification, and access to a web-based dashboard for complete order monitoring from any location.

This new development only heightens user benefits from this inventory and ordering/receiving automation system.
