MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., March 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- El Camino Hospital today announced that it has appointed Michael R. King, FHFMA, as the hospital's new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Mr. King will replace interim CFO, Ned Borgstrom, starting in May.
"Michael brings with him a proven track record of thoughtful fiscal management that has resulted in more favorable cash flow for both proprietary and non-profit healthcare facilities, and we feel he'll be a real asset to our organization," said Tomi Ryba, president and CEO of El Camino Hospital. "Ned was instrumental in helping to recruit our new CFO, and I want to thank him for his exceptional guidance during a significant period of transition for the hospital."
Mr. King previously served as the senior vice president and CFO of Rockingham Memorial Hospital in Harrisburg, Va., where he worked closely with the medical staff on building loyalty and on performance improvement metrics.
