("JIST"), a leading developer and publisher of educational materials covering job search, resumes and career reference, self-assessment, and planning in the school, library, employment and training, and trade markets of North America. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. JIST, an acronym for Job Information, Seeking and Training, was founded in 1981 to continue the efforts of a job-search program initiated and developed over the previous decade by its founder, Michael Farr. JIST's products assist students, teachers, career counselors and adults learn about job searches, career exploration, occupational information, life skills and character building. Specifically, JIST's products include assessment materials, workbooks and textbooks, career reference books, videos/DVDs/software, and websites.
