Endangered Species Chocolate Calls for Nonprofits to Apply for 10% GiveBack Partnership
INDIANAPOLIS, June 5, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Endangered Species Chocolate (ESC) is currently seeking applications for their 2013-2015 10% GiveBack partners. Applications will be received through Aug. 3, 2012 and the new partners will be announced on Oct. 16, 2012. All applicants must be designated tax exempt under the IRS code 501(c)(3).
The mission-minded chocolate company has a rigorous process in which 10% GiveBack partners are selected based on their aggressive and clear mission to help support species, habitat and humanity. Since 2005 ESC has worked with multiple organizations in helping to support their missions by extending their 10% GiveBack.
ESC uses ethically traded, shade-grown all-natural and organic chocolate as a medium to spread environmental awareness and help support the growing number of species disappearing from the planet. 10% of net profits or a guaranteed minimum contribution of $10,000 each is donated annually to two nonprofit partners, supporting species, habitat and humanity.
The company's current 2010-2012 10% GiveBack partners are African Wildlife Foundation and SEEtheWILD. Each year the company also seeks ways to give back to the farming communities that harvest their all-natural and organic cacao.
The 10% GiveBack application is available at www.chocolatebar.com. To honor the company's core value of conservation, applications and supplemental materials should be submitted electronically using the email address provided on the application. To apply and for more information visit www.chocolatebar.com.
