Enforcement Notice Decision - IN THE MATTER OF David Hoang - Penalty Decision
VANCOUVER, Feb. 4, 2013 /CNW/ - Following a penalty hearing held on December 20, 2012, a Hearing Panel of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC) imposed the following penalty on David Hoang:
(a) A fine in the amount of $25,000.

In an earlier decision dated November 1, 2012, the Hearing Panel found that Mr. Hoang failed to attend a second interview and give additional information in respect of an investigation being conducted by IIROC, contrary to Dealer Member Rule 19.5.

IIROC formally initiated the investigation into Hoang's conduct in July 2010. Hoang is no longer a registrant with an IIROC-regulated firm.
