Customers can now deploy Engagement Systems marketing automation within Salesforce CRM

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Salesforce.com Dreamforce Conference -- Engagement Systems today announced the availability of its ES-Basic, ES-Lite and ES-Premium marketing automation applications on the AppExchange. In addition to making Engagement Systems' marketing campaign technology - used by more than 14,000 salespeople and marketers - accessible to a wider audience, the move helps businesses utilize and enhance the power of Salesforce CRM by improving their ability to nurture leads, close sales and increase ROI by automatically initiating, delivering and tracking 1:1 marketing communications.

Built using the Force.com platform, Engagement Systems' marketing automation applications are immediately available on the AppExchange at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange/. In addition, ES-Basic is available as a free download.

The announcement was made today at Dreamforce 2009, salesforce.com's user and developer conference.

Engagement Systems' marketing campaign automation solution is available on the AppExchange in three versions. ES-Basic, a free application, allows users to experience basic automated marketing communication functionality and send direct mail greeting cards from within their Salesforce CRM. Engagement Systems' advanced marketing automation systems - ES-Lite and ES-Premium - integrate with Salesforce CRM, allowing sales teams and marketers to launch and track multi-touch, multi-channel campaigns directly from their Salesforce CRM deployment.

"Because Engagement Systems builds upon standard Salesforce processes, using it came very naturally, without the steep learning curve of some marketing automation systems," said Brad Oddo, CEO of Marathon Processing Systems. "Engagement Systems has helped our sales and marketing staff work smarter, letting us build relationships with more prospects than possible before. We were able to achieve a 20% sales growth in just five months using Engagement Systems."

"Engagement Systems' marketing automation applications are a clear example of how developers can use the Force.com platform to innovate so they may meet the cloud computing needs of customers," said Kendall Collins, chief marketing officer, salesforce.com. "The addition of ES-Basic, ES-Lite and ES-Premium to the AppExchange exemplifies the growing ecosystem of applications available to Salesforce CRM customers to help them realize customer success."
