Equilibrium DeBabelizer Pro 4.5 LE To Be Bundled with Silicon Graphics Visual Workstations for Windows NT

    SAUSALITO, Calif., Jan. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Equilibrium today announced
 that DeBabelizer Pro 4.5 LE (TM), a new limited edition of the leading
 automated graphics processor for Web, multimedia, and print, will be bundled
 with Silicon Graphics visual workstations for Microsoft Windows NT (TM).  As a
 result, users will have an easy-to-use graphics processing and translation
 solution for integrating the new Silicon Graphics 320 (TM) and Silicon
 Graphics 540 (TM) workstations into existing UNIX and Macintosh
 environments.
     Equilibrium DeBabelizer Pro 4.5 LE converts and optimizes more than
 100 bitmapped image, animation, and digital video file types, including all
 popular Web formats, SGI Media Player, UNIX, and Macintosh file types.

     The full version of the product, Equilibrium DeBabelizer Pro 4.5, provides

 featuring Equilibrium's proprietary SuperPalette (TM) technology.  Silicon
 Graphics intends to resell DeBabelizer Pro 4.5, enabling users to solve volume
 data migration and workflow issues.
 
     Pricing and Availability
     Equilibrium DeBabelizer Pro 4.5 LE (Limited Edition) for Windows is
 bundled with the Silicon Graphics 320 and Silicon Graphics 540 workstations.
 The Silicon Graphics 320 workstation will ship in February 1999 and has a
 starting price of less than $3,400.  The Silicon Graphics 540 workstation
 will ship in the first quarter of 1999 and has a starting price at less
 than $6,000.   Equilibrium DeBabelizer Pro 4.5 ships at an estimated street
 price of $399.95.  The full version of DeBabelizer Pro 4.5 is available for
 purchase through traditional software distribution channels, including
 Ingram Micro, Tech Data, Digital River, retail dealers, mail order, and is
 anticipated to be available directly from Silicon Graphics.
