ESD On Site Power Generation Conference To be Held November 9, 2000

    SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Sept. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- ESD The Engineering Society
 and DTE Energy Technologies welcomes architects, construction and civil
 engineers and building managers to the On Site Power Generation Conference
 (OSPG).  The conference will be held Thursday, November 9, 2000, 8 a.m. - 4
 p.m. at the DoubleTree Hotel, 31500 Wick Rd., Romulus, Michigan.  Registration
 begins at 7:30 a.m.  The cost for ESD members is $155.  The cost for non-
 members is $195.
     The conference will address the issues of reliability, infrastructure,
 serviceability, portability and environmental impact.  It will open with an
 overview from the U.S. Department of Energy.  Immediately following will be
 presentations on Fuel Cells, Micro-turbines, External Combustion Engines,
 Improved IC Engines, Renewable Energy Options and others.  A networking lunch
 will be followed by Case Studies on electric utilities, the Solar Project at
 Ford's Bridgend, Wales, Plant and the Department of Defense Fuel Cell
 Demonstration Program.  A presentation on The Future of Power Generation
 Technology will round out the conference.  A reception will follow, affording
 participants the opportunity to ask questions of the speakers.
