"Thanks to people like Joelle and Paul, we will be able to continue offering much-needed enrichment activities including tutoring, computer classes, English classes, sports, music and dance to many kids in Nicaragua who otherwise would have no chance to access quality education," said Kevin Marinacci of the Fabretto Children's Foundation.
With their gift, the O'Reilly-Hylands put Fabretto closer to its fundraising goals for the month of October.
"Fabretto does incredible work providing education programs to the children of Nicaragua, and I couldn't be prouder to play a small part in such a vital organization," Joelle O'Reilly-Hyland said.
Fabretto has developed its fundraising campaign with the sale of "bus seats" and "bus drivers." Drivers like the O'Reilly-Hylands have agreed to spread the word about the campaign to family, friends, neighbors and colleagues in addition to making a financial donation
Fabretto's mission is to empower underserved children and their families in Nicaragua to reach their full potential, improve their livelihoods, and take advantage of economic opportunity through education and nutrition. More than 10,500 students benefit annually from their programs and services.
