Facility Solutions Group's Energy Division Streamlines Commissioning for Energy Enterprise Management

AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 22, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Facility Solutions Group (FSG), one of the nation's leading Lighting/Electrical/Energy Corporations, announced today the promotion of Tiago Silva to Commissioning Manager.

FSG Energy worked with its strategic manufacturing partners to develop a streamlined application that allows for consistent commissioning both in the field and from remote offices.  The new application automates much of the commissioning thereby reducing the time needed in the field with the installing contractors. The application also collects the commissioning data and posts directly into a database, which allows the customers direct web access to the information.    

Tiago Silva, a graduate of the University of North Texas with a degree in Spanish, led the effort which resulted in reducing the commission time by over 42%. Patrick Davis, FSG Energy Director, said, "Tiago has demonstrated a passion to serve customers and has provided leadership to his fellow commissioning agents.
