Fairtheworld South China Yacht Industry Observation (5): The First Model of Tricon Marine - Argos G92 Luxury Launches in Zhuhai
On the following
In regards to the yachts made by Tricon Marine, Mr. Adams emphasized the perfection for each detail. Fairtheworld states that it will help Tricon Marine to broadcast its detailed focus and strong points to the relevant supply chain members through its ''Fair 3D Media'' and ''Fairtheworld Virtual Exhibition'', which have a global coverage capability.
Argos G92 yacht and Argos Gulfstream luxury yacht product line
Argos G92 is the first yacht from the Tricon Marine new shipyard in Zhuhai. Together with the Argos G100 which is under construction, they all belong to the Argos Gulftstream series trans-oceanic cruising range.
Argos G92 is 92 foot in length, with speed up to 35knot. It has distinctive SkySuite(TM) Master Stateroom with 270-degree panoramic views. The 26 foot split-level sun deck, which has up to 800 square meter multi-function deck, can even offer helipad capabilities and hold entertaining activities or parties. Another shining point of Argos G92 is its complete protection of the ship owner's privacy. Based on the special design, it separates the owners living areas from the crew day-to-day working areas. The yacht's crew do not have to pass through the owner's living or social areas to get to the pilot house, offering the ship owner free and private living areas.
Mr. Adams stated that Argos G92 offers super and multi functional deck space, privacy, luxury master stateroom and 270-degree panoramic view, which is not available on any other yacht under 120 feet. However, Argos G92 makes it. For customers, Argos G92 is much better value to cost yacht choice.
Tricon Marine ideas about the Chinese yacht industry
When talking about the Chinese yacht market, Mr. Adams showed that, The Chinese yacht market is still in its junior stage. Few people understand yachts, and the market is not scaled enough. An extreme phenomenon is that many people cannot afford yachts, while the other wealthy customers know little about yachts. They prefer to choose the most expensive and the best known yacht brands. While in the developed markets such as European and the US markets, the yacht buyer pays more attention to the product itself in detail, craftsmanship and value to cost factors.
When the journalist asked Mr. Adams about his ideas about the Chinese
yacht industry, he showed that
Mr. Adams hopes that the local government could set up professional training schools for the ever-growing yacht industry where various skills for yacht-building are taught. Although yacht industry mainly involves universal techniques and skills, like the case in many other manufacturing industries, yacht-building is a systemized program which requires sophisticated processes and detail-work; therefore, a future training school would greatly ease human resource shortages in the yacht-building industry and reduce training cost.
