Featherstone Informatics Group, Inc. Named Exclusive Vendor for the American College of Cardiology's Practice-Based Data Registry Program
Clinical Quality Improvement Pilot Program will gather 100,000 patient records
WASHINGTON, Aug. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- Featherstone Informatics Group, Inc. (FIG) today announced that they have been chosen as the exclusive vendor for the American College of Cardiology's practice-based quality improvement program, called the IC3 Program(R) (Improving Continuous Cardiac Care). FIG will coordinate the program's Electronic Health Record (EHR) interfacing and data extraction process beginning with gathering over 100,000 patient records. FIG will deploy its state-of-the-art workflow management and automation solution known as FIGMD Workflow Manager at practices throughout the nation and will assist the ACC in mapping and extracting clinical data from the practice's health record systems. The ACC will take the extracted data and employ their proprietary analysis and reporting algorithms to benchmark physician and practice clinical performance.
