First Annual Dallas HOCKEYFEST at Dr Pepper StarCenter
October 13 event features NHL Alumni, Celebrities, Competition, Prizes, Giveaways
DALLAS, Oct. 11, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- The Texas Amateur Hockey Association (TAHA) and USA Hockey invite the entire community to attend its first annual HOCKEYFEST on Saturday, October 13 beginning at 10:00 AM at the Dr. Pepper StarCenter in Farmers Branch.
This day-long celebration is in conjunction with the October 15 U.S. Hockey Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Dallas that will include former Dallas Star and fan favorite, Mike Modano as one of the inductees!
Activities will include a day of highly competitive games between the local Dallas Tier I youth hockey clubs "The Alliance Bulldogs and The Dallas Stars Elite" with celebrity puck drops for each game; Former Stars Players appearances and autographs; Photos with the Dallas Stars ICE GIRLS; The Dallas Stars own Daryl Reaugh and Ralph Strangis as MCs; Raffles to win awesome prizes including *2 tickets to attend the October 15th US Hockey Hall of Fame induction of Mike Modano , Lou Lamoriello , and Eddie Olczyk !; The Dallas Stars Mobile Unit with games, prize and great giveaways!
