MONETT, Mo., Nov. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jack Henry & Associates, Inc. (Nasdaq: JKHY), a leading provider of integrated technology solutions and data processing services for financial institutions, today announced that First National Bank of Florida has selected Jack Henry Banking's SilverLake core processing system to provide enterprise-wide automation. This bank, which has more than $392 million in assets, will implement SilverLake through Jack Henry Banking's outsourced offering.

First National Bank of Florida was a former Jack Henry Banking customer that implemented a competitive core system approximately four years ago. According to Greg Adams, senior vice president and CFO of First National Bank of Florida, "Replacing our Jack Henry technology platform seemed like a prudent decision at the time it was made by the former manager of our IT department.
