First Restaurant Valet Company in the Country Where Guests Can Pay the Valet Parking Fee Using Their Credit or Debit Card
Celebrity dining favorites Nancy Silverton, Mario Batalli & Joe Bastlanich's Osteria and Pizzeria Mozza and Thomas Keller's Bouchon Beverly Hills will be the first restaurants to offer this convenient payment option to guests
LOS ANGELES, Nov. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Regent Hospitality Parking is launching a groundbreaking service to allow guests to pay their valet parking service charge at the valet station using their credit or debit card. Diners who park with Regent never have to fumble around for cash or embarrass themselves by asking companions to borrow money. They'll also be able to expense their valet parking and earn points and miles on their credit cards.
Typically, only parking lots and garages have offered the credit card payment option. Starting Dec. 1 2009, guests at three of L.A.'s top restaurants can pay parking fees at Regent Valet Stations using credit or debit cards.
"Guests want the option of charging their valet fee to expense it and earn points," explained Regent's Vice President, Joe Burwell. "Some guests don't carry cash, so it made sense to establish this hassle-free way to pay the valet service charge. Our valet stations at Osteria and Pizzeria Mozza and Bouchon Beverly Hills will have wireless credit card terminals. In less than one minute, the transaction will be completed and our guests can earn points for their valet fees."
The program will launch on December 1st at Osteria and Pizzeria Mozza located at 641 North Highland Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90036, and at Bouchon Beverly Hill, located at 235 North Canon Drive, Beverly Hills, CA 90210.
