DRAPER, Utah, Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Flexpoint Sensor Systems, Inc. (OTCBB: FLXT) http://www.flexpoint.com today announced they have received additional orders for their universal sensor.  We have received additional orders from Intertek Industrial Corp., HTK Engineering LLC, and Card Access for universal sensors. We will begin production of the sensors and then follow with assembly of the sensors into the universal sensor.  Production of the sensors and delivery of the orders is expected to take place during the first quarter of this year.

Clark Mower, President of Flexpoint stated, "We are excited to be able to announce receipt of these additional orders.  One order, for 500 sensors, is the largest single order we have received to date.  We also have received orders for 40 and 25 universal sensors as well. We anticipate that we will continue to receive recurring and increasing orders from these customers.  We also expect additional orders from other companies, both new and repeat customers.
