Flight1 Aviation Technologies Licenses Microsoft ESP v1.0 Object Code to Enhance Training Simulations
Agreement expands Flight1 Tech's capability to build immersive custom training environments with exacting real-world detail.
REDMOND, Wash. and ATLANTA, Dec. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Microsoft Corp. and Flight1 Aviation Technologies (Flight1 Tech) have entered into an intellectual property (IP) license agreement that gives Flight1 Tech access to Microsoft ESP's powerful visual simulation technology. Flight1 Tech took a license for the Microsoft® ESP(TM) v1.0 object code, which enables the company to create detailed, customized flight safety, flight training and strategic solutions for its customers.

Microsoft ESP is a visual simulation software development platform that brings immersive games-based technology to training and decision support for commercial, government and education organizations. Flight1 Tech will use this Microsoft ESP v1.0 license to create immersive visual simulations that prepare aviation trainees and customers with the skills they need to perform at the highest levels of proficiency.
