About Christy Fichtner - Originally from Connecticut, Christy moved to Dallas, Texas to attend Southern Methodist University, parting ways with her high school sweetheart and football legend Steve Young. Soon thereafter, she was crowned Miss Texas USA 1986. Ultimately, she beat out actress Halle Berry in the Miss USA pageant. Christy went on to the Miss Universe pageant 1986 where she took first runner-up. In 2003, Christy participated in the NBC reality show "Who Wants to Marry My Dad."
